What is it?

Silicone molding, also known as silicone casting, is a process used to create flexible silicone parts and molds. Unlike plastic injection molding, which uses thermoplastic materials, liquid silicone molding relies on curing the liquid silicone rubber compound as the mold and pouring thermosetting polymers like Polyurethane and urethane to produce the parts.

02

How does it work?

  • Using silicone significantly reduces costs and eliminates the wait for steel molds.
  • It provides repeatability of up to 20 replicas with a single mold. Precision is achieved by using CNC to create the master model.
  • Components made of PU (Polyurethane) can be manufactured with properties comparable to conventional materials.
  • Our surface finishing department ensures a high aesthetic level in individually supplied or assembled pieces.
  • Another advantage of silicone molds compared to other technologies is that more competitive prices can be obtained for volumes between 20 and 500 pieces.
