01

What is it?

A conceptual model is an automobile that is not intended for production but is used by large manufacturers to showcase the physical appearance of a new design.

02

How does it work?

The process for developing a conceptual model begins with creating a BOM (Bill of Materials), which allows us to identify all the components required by the client for integration into the prototype. Next, the design of the mechanical structure is carried out, enabling the integration of all the system components. During this phase, the design of electronic components, harnesses, and control systems is also conducted. Once this step is completed, relevant approvals are obtained from the client before initiating manufacturing.

For the final phase, the manufacturing of each component takes place, with the appropriate technology selected for each of them. At Honpe Prototyping, we have three manufacturing plants, each focused on a different area of expertise, allowing us to create all the parts simultaneously. Finally, the last step involves the integration, testing, and dimensional reports, ensuring that the model meets all the standards requested by the client.
